You pay out-of-pocket during this time. Thrizer submits your insurance claims at no cost so they count toward your deductible. During this phase, insurance typically does not issue payments until your deductible has been met.
Once your deductible is met, you can choose how you’d like to be reimbursed. Either instant reimbursement with a 5% fee or standard reimbursement within a few weeks for a 1% fee.

Intake sessions are 60 to 90 minutes in length to go over intake paperwork, review through treatment options, and determine the best treatment plan to support your child and family’s goals.

Social Emotional Learning (SEL) groups are private pay and not billed through insurance. Please visit the SEL page for additional information.
Payment is due at the time of service and will be collected at the beginning of each session. Accepted forms of payment include exact cash and credit or debit cards. After your telehealth session, an invoice will be sent for payment, or you can pay securely through the patient portal.
Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected costs for therapy services if you are uninsured or choose not to use insurance. A Good Faith Estimate is a written document provided to self-pay clients that outlines anticipated service fees in advance, allowing you to understand your estimated costs before beginning therapy.
